The Library Mission Statement
The mission of the Franklin Delano Roosevelt High School Library is to provide access to a variety of materials, including print and non-print formats that meet the education and recreational needs of students, staff and the greater school community. By doing so, we hope to foster a life-long love for reading and a pursuit of knowledge.
Our primary goal is to educate students and faculty on information literacy. Information literacy includes the retrieval, evaluation, extraction, synthesis, use and presentation of all forms of information.
The school librarians at the Franklin Delano Roosevelt High School Library will strive to ensure that every student is competent in information literacy and they become life-long learners.
