The FDR Student Government is a group of students elected by their peers to act as representatives of the student body. This group of dedicated cougars are responsible for making important decisions regarding school policy and help keep school spirit alive through the many events and activities they organize. Student Government hosts a variety of events including: The Hispanic Food Festival, The Lunar New Year Festival, Navroz Festival, The Homecoming Dance, The Carnival, The FDR Fashion Show, The Senior Prom, The Staff/Student Basketball Game, The Hip-Hop Dance Off and more. In addition to this, its members participate in numerous fundraising activities, hold blood drives and provide students with important information about activities at the school.
