Welcome to the Visual Arts and Business Department
Students at FDR have the opportunity to learn the latest in Digital Photography and Multi-Media Design.  They create portfolios with skills, highlighting composition and technical ability.  Along the way, they self-assess their work, producing standards that are professional quality.  Many students take advantage of our Computer Art classes, which use Adobe Photoshop to create business cards and logos.  Our 3-D Modeling classes are taking technology to the next level.  Don't forget about our visual artists, who create drawings, paintings, fashion designs, sculptures, and ceramic pieces worthy of a lifetime keepsake.  Students' works are entered in competitions, with award-winning results.  Woodworkers have extended their imagination to include beautiful home accents and basic home repair.  Business students leave us with entrepreneurial and financial planning skills, not to mention application of Microsoft Office Suite, making them future business leaders in a global economy.  Our MAC Labs and Photography Dark Room are state of the art.  Our Art Club extends learning beyond the school day.  Portfolio preparation is available to those students seeking entrance into specialized art programs on the college level.
