College Awareness Day at FDR

Middle schools and high schools across New York City celebrated College Awareness Day, an initiative part of the city's College Access For All Program.  At FDR, students began their day learning more about different careers by spinning a virtual wheel.  All students received prizes for their participation.
We were fortunate to have 16 FDR graduates meet with our 10th and 11th through a student panel to discuss their college  experiences and what all students should know as they prepare to apply and enter college.  The graduates ended their day by visiting select senior classes.
Our FDR graduates represented Cornell University, SUNY Albany, SUNY Stony Brook, SUNY Canton, SUNY Buffalo, CUNY Brooklyn, CUNY Baruch, CUNY Hunter, The College of New Rochelle, New York University, SUNY Brockport, and St. Francis College!
