Performing Arts

At FDR High School we are proud to offer a wide variety of Theatre and Music courses for students to fulfill their Arts requirements for graduation.  In addition to the required coursework, students may also select to follow a sequence of courses that could lead to an exit exam.  Some of the classes we offer are:

Guitar

Band

Piano

Intro to Theatre

Acting

Technical Theatre

 

We view the Performing Arts as an opportunity for students to express themselves creatively.  FDR has been working on partnerships with the Roundabout Theatre Company and Lincoln Center.
